On the second day we had a route of over 30 kilometers to cover and thanks to an amazing sunny morning we managed to get up around 8 am when at 6 am we were woken up by the local birds and bees buzzing and singing around us. )

We left Šerklava, where we slept, at around 9 am and set off on the most beautiful section of our journey, which passes through Velké Karlovice and the famous peaks of Javorník, Stratenec, and others.

We had a nice lunch on the mountain known as Kohútka, but we almost didn't have a place to sit because we didn't guess that we were going on a holiday and there was a fair. Fortunately, the restaurant service was very fast and after an hour's rest, we could start to meet the next kilometers.

We walked all day in a forest with the sun shining through the treetops creating a peaceful atmosphere. Plus, you don't get too hot because the forest keeps the cold at bay, but at the same time, you have enough visibility to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
There are great markings in the Beskydy Mountains where it is impossible to go off the path and every few meters you will see a sign that you have to follow and every 2-3km a signpost that will show you the way. There just aren't that many restaurants in the area we walked so you have to have plenty of food and water with you. There are a couple of springs but you shouldn't rely on them too much.

After a hearty lunch at the aforementioned Kohutka, we headed to the most interesting points of the day, aiming for sunset somewhere between Stratenec and Velký Javorník, which are great mountains for watching the last rays of the sun. In the next photo, you can see the view from Mount Stratenec and the bench that overlooks the valley. )
We then set off to find accommodation for the night, with the pleasant evening light from the setting sun accompanying us. We had scouted out a beautiful spot with a nearby spring, but it turned out to be already occupied, so we had to improvise and walk another 3-4km, to find another spot for sleep. Eventually, we managed to find a place in Sedlo pod Lemešnou, where we arrived after dark and, quite tired, we built everything we needed and cooked dinner.

We walked just over 30 miles today and by the end of the day it was a tough day for everyone, but again a beautiful day that energized us and allowed us to rest from our busy lives.

During dinner, we got a pretty view of stars and I went to take a few more pictures before wrapping it up in my sleeping bag and falling asleep.
