We want to kick off our upcoming proposal by thanking everyone who supported us last year. We couldn't have accomplished our major goals without your support. So thank you!
Review & Plans
Throughout the years, Actifit has grown into a full-fledged service provider to our Hive ecosystem, offering complete front-end services, which not only cater to Actifit needs but provide an open door to our fitness community or anyone new to Hive to use our front ends and apps for blogging and vlogging with bridges to many other Hive initiatives.
Actifit's last year has been nothing short of growth, development, and collaborations. Let us share some of the accomplishments of last year as well as some of the plans underway for 2025 and beyond:
- Integrations & Collabs:
- Spk network: We have built tight integrations with spk network including 3speak video integrations across our web and app platforms. We are looking at further collab including utilizing the image hosting capacity once the network officially launches. Additionally, we love the work so far done on distriator, and are looking to collaborate on that end as well.
- Splinterlands: Last year saw the launch of our splinterlands integration enabling card owners to earn with additional rewards on Actifit based on their cards category & strategy. We are looking at a larger collab this year, which could include special gadgets, SPS added value or more.
- Ecency waves & Peakd Snaps: As both teams have launched great short content entry points to hive, we integrated both into our Actifit platforms to enable a seamless experience across hive and more options to our users.
- VSC: The long anticipated smart contracts layer for hive. We are awaiting the official launch so that we can look into integrating it into our Actifit experience, our wallet, but also to start utilizing smart contracts on Hive.
- Inleo: Inleo team has been pushing the limits and expanding beyond hive to bring additional value to our chain. We value how far they've gone, and we are looking to have collaborations together, which could include threads, shorts and others.
- Actifit Vision Expansion:
- AI Integration: Last year we integrated our first AI-focused functionality relating to the dynamic translation of user content. This year we have many plans for further AI expansion as we will detail below. This came bundled up with a full-fledged translation of our app experience and introducing new language support.
- Workout planner: We started the work on a new core module in Actifit, which includes a complete workout planner backed by AI, enabling a wizard-like process to customize your own workout plan. This will tackle a larger audience for Actifit, and expand our vision of fitness and well-being.
- Workout tracker: A planner is great, a tracker is better! As part of your current experience in tracking your activity count throughout the day, and based on the planning module, you will be able to register your specific workout details according to your plan and available exercises whenever you perform your routine. This will be registered onchain.
- Workout Database: Actifit will feature a database of workouts, position visualizations, descriptions, and target muscles,... to provide useful details for our users to properly visualize, track, and perform workouts.
- Increased Gamification: As Actifit already features a gamified experience, whether through user ranks, friendships, market and virtual gadgets, we plan to grow and increase this throughout the year, which could include new gadgets, new gamification, and a few other ideas we are working on to announce in time :)
- New Wearable Integrations: this is another key area of focus, where we plan to expand our existing integrations with wearables and tap into communities with pre-existing wearables. As mentioned in the gamification section, the new ideas we are working on would influence our wearable integrations.
- Better UI/UX: You can never say enough in UI/UX, which is why we are continuously reimagining our visuals under Actifit. Last year noted a major shift in our Actifit iOS app, introducing tons of new functionality and better aligning it with its Android counterpart, including the introduction of socials, videos, and wallets, and many others planned for this year.
Code (Always Open Source)
We have also been quite active in pushing our code changes to our github, as our work is open source across our repos.
Below are graphs showing github activity of commit history/contributions per our Actifit team members, with a total of 453 contributions (avg of 8.71/week)
By Project: (Actifit web, android, and ios)
Infrastructure
Our large infrastructure continues to run smoothly in support of Hive and different initiatives on top of hive that we support, with 20+ active servers including large-scale public Hive/HAF API node, Hive engine API nodes, image server, 3speak, vsc nodes and others.
Requested Funding
In alignment with last year's expenditures, the bulk of funding went into development resources (around 74%), and the rest into infrastructure, devops and graphics/socials costs.
For this year, we project similar cost plans and breakdown. We did not increase our requested funding, as we do not wish to put more pressure on the DHF and prefer to maintain a conservative figure for our funding while covering some of the needed costs. The cost estimate breakdown is as follows:
- Infrastructure cost (500$ monthly)
- Devops cost (600$ monthly)
- Developers cost (web + android + ios: 3 x 1,700$ monthly=5,400$ monthly)
- Graphics/Socials cost (700$ monthly)
We are, therefore, looking at a monthly asking of 6,900 HBD, which equates to 230 HBD per day.
We will continue to provide continuous updates on our progress and growth, as always.
If you have any comments/suggestions/ideas, we are more than happy to discuss them. Actifit has continuously grown based on community feedback.

@actifit is the best app, my support always
You have my support, I love that this app is letting me track my steps and workouts on Hive blockchain.
I do acknowledge that there might be some valid criticism here and that Actifit could try to do better tokens wise, but on the other hand what non-new layer 2 tokens on Hive are doing great?
Muy bien 😍😍😊👍🏻
I would love to see more importance given to AFITX holders - this was created as a governance token for Actifit, but I see no governance decisions asked from the holders.
I see a lot of work done by the team. How you set priorities?
their tokens are kinda dead for years, could be one of the worst tokenizations on hive, I think with blocktrades vote all these project don't need users anymore, don't care about users much, are allowed to fail, i doubt blocktrades even know how to check their tokens, ignorance is epic. their token pool on engine have liquidity for 400$ when they ask for 230$ daily from hive. Rewarding users is clearly not a point here but milking dhf...
Look how with time whole thing changing towards infra and meeting blocktrades expectations just to save their jobs. If first proposal was about their application next proposal was about infra and onboarding, now they removed onboarding as we all know it's fake idea, no one really knows how to do it and maybe it was previous blocktrades expectation but he kinda learn very slowly...
every next proposal have less votes, is it normal for successful proposal?
I think they already already have another proposal for haf infra, taking 300-400$? more for something they did here previously for 230$? why this split? is it one of the simplest to recognize issues with centralized uneffective governance? it becomes super weird what you people do...
WEAK
all you can get from selling their tokens is something like 300 HIVE ?
WEAK
We disagree.
While our focus hasn't been on token liquidity, more so on development, user growth and retention. Yet Numbers don't lie. Here are few recent stats from Actifit user base, retention and usage
Our daily average rewarded # of actifit reports (users who created content and are eligible for rewards) is around 160, the DAU would be on the higher end as not all users earn rewards.
We onboarded (via our Actifit direction paid account creation) last year 248 new users.
We do not have a proposal for haf infra. The proposal you are alluding to is the block explorer dev, which is purely for development resources/team completely separate from Actifit team, performing development on block explorer, and does not fund any server/infra costs.
In a nutshell, we are one of the longest lasting projects on hive that is continuously growing, and are proud to continue to be building on and bringing more users to hive.
Thank you for your feedback, much appreciated. Indeed a lot of work was done and is planned for more growth for Actifit.
We usually discuss internally within the team, and include feedback from the community shared via our discord under suggestions channel, and prioritize according to several metrics including complexity, user effect, usability effect, and market needs.
Regarding AFITX, it is true one of the use cases planned previously for AFITX was governance, but that is not the sole benefit of owning AFITX as it affects your whole gamified experience in actifit including user rank, rewards, ...
We will review how we can expand AFITX into a more governance focus going forward.hey @steemmillionaire,
Actifit posts are for the most part spam that probably chase more content consumers away from hive then they attract. My watch and phone both come with a free fitness app.
We tend to disagree. Actifit content creators have been continuously creating quality content as they are incentivized to do so. While not every user can create such content every day, i invite you to checkout some of our selections of user content, which in collab with OCD has been rewarding users with higher rewards, all of this combined with tracked fitness activity and gamified experience.
We create a compilation every 3 days, and each includes 20+ reports.
Here are some sample compilations created by @actifit.curate account

I certify it, the @actifit app is a marvel, I attest to the commitment that the community has with the content creators, and there is a lot of quality content there, I feel supported and valued in this excellent community.
possible blocktrades with his vote killed main project here, as owners and devs learning over time that they don't need to work with users for users but blocktrades. This app is going to be completely killed eventually as shift continues? Why it's so hard for some of you to see that in last years whole thing changing in very wrong direction. Most of currently funded proposal are not focused on users, rewarding users, creating value. Most of these proposals are basically valueless, just costs for network...

In the end, transparency is the best way to build trust!@actifit, I know not everyone can take criticism, but @gerber has some valid points. Much effort was invested in features that were not bringing value to your users (me included). Nevertheless, I prefer to look from a positive perspective, and who else to ask for prioritization if not the holders of your tokens? I know the dev team is also a solid holder of AFITX - therefore they will be part of the ideas pool.
constructive criticism. That is one way how Actifit continues to grow. On the other hand, we don't appreciate negative attacks that try to bring our project down such as the comment you referenced. While no project is perfect, we have been doing a huge effort, and as you highlighted, we are a positive-minded team, and so is our community and our project, and that is how we look at things and our future. We shrug off negative comments with work, facts and our attitude.@steemmillionaire we value positive feedback such as yours and any feedback overall, including
