You are just at the HTN level. Now is the best time to start combatting it. Brisk walking is one of the best exercises for keeping it under control. I see patients frequently who come in as new patients and have terribly high pressures, and they feel fine.
Best of luck keeping it under control. Don't forget that stress plays a role as well, but your yoga should help that.
