My Actifit Report Card: September 7 2022

First Actifit Report

This is my first time posting in the Actifit community and using this account. I actually created this account by accident awhile back then forgot about it.

So rather than leave it standing idle I thought I would have this just for my Actifit report as I need to improve my health more.
I started my day with yoga and took a long walk most of my day was spending time with family.

I took care of our animals areas we keep chickens and quails.

I had a recent physical and had high BP for the first time in my life, so I really need to push myself more physically and eat more healthy.

I am waiting for an appointment for more tests but rather than wait anxiously for that there are things I can do to turn this around the best I can.

Eating better, getting more exercise like walking and general overall self health care is a good way to prevent any further issue.

Well that will be it for me from here until tomorrow. I am also trying to organise my online activities and curating posts @heartbeatonhive so thanks for reading have the greatest day.

She has been off high blood pressure medicine for several years! Like you said certain foods and any kind of exercise will help, with us it's our hiking. Be careful if you are on high blood pressure medicine, Mrs. found out that you have to gradually remove yourself from high blood pressure medicine ......

That is awesome she is able to come off the meds for it. I am not medication for it and hopefully will not need to, it is why i am trying to get ahead of it now.😎

Many do not even know they have a high BP, this knowledge is power. Definitely good daily physical exercise and eating healthy will do a lot of good. Wishing you all the best.

You are just at the HTN level. Now is the best time to start combatting it. Brisk walking is one of the best exercises for keeping it under control. I see patients frequently who come in as new patients and have terribly high pressures, and they feel fine.
Best of luck keeping it under control. Don't forget that stress plays a role as well, but your yoga should help that.
