Wczoraj miałem na noc do pracy, w ciągu dnia wybraliśmy się na spacer. W poszukiwaniu cienia wybraliśmy się do lasu w Havre, ale okazało się, że wszystkie miejsca parkingowe są zajęte, dodatkowo dziesiątki samochodów stało na poboczu drogi, gdzie popadnie. Wszystko przez to, że na sali sportowej nieopodal rozgrywane były jakieś zawody dla dzieci. W związku z tym zamiast do lasu trafiliśmy nad kanał w Thieu.
[ENG] Yesterday I had an overnight commute to work, during the day we went for a walk. Looking for some shade, we went to the woods in Havre, but found that all the parking spaces were taken, and there were dozens of cars on the side of the road, wherever they happened to be. This was all because there was some sort of children's competition going on in a nearby sports hall. So instead of the forest, we ended up by the canal in Thieu.
W sumie spacer nad wodą też jest dobrym sposobem na upał. Spotkaliśmy kilka osób, zdecydowali się na spacer lub bieganie w takich warunkach, ale zdecydowanie więcej było rowerzystów. Wyjątkowo można było zobaczyć pływające w kanale ryby, którym najwidoczniej brakowało tlenu, bo dużymi grupami pływały bardzo blisko lustra wody. Wypatrzyłem też kilka żółwi, które leniwie pływały, lub przysiadły na wodorostach.
[ENG] All in all, a walk along the water is also a good way to escape the heat. We met a few people who chose to walk or run in these conditions, but there were definitely more cyclists. Exceptionally, we could see fish swimming in the canal, apparently lacking oxygen as they swam very close to the surface in large groups. I also saw a few turtles swimming lazily or perched on the seaweed.
