Przyzwyczaiłem się już, że moje plany nie są kompatybilne z planami żony. Chciałem w dzień wolny uporać się z prasowaniem moich rzeczy, bo już powoli nie mam w czym chodzić. Żona chciała natomiast, żeby pojechał z nią na zakupy. Co miałem zrobić, skoro i tak musiałem jechać do apteki, żeby zamówić nasze zastrzyki. Zrobiłem z żoną objazd jej ulubionych sklepów. Po powrocie do domu było już za późno, żeby zaczynać prasowanie. Odłożyłem to na czwartek.

[ENG] I've got used to the fact that my plans don't always coincide with my wife's. I wanted to spend my day off ironing my clothes because I was running out of things to wear. My wife, on the other hand, wanted him to go shopping with her. What was I going to do when I had to go to the pharmacy to order our injections anyway? I made a detour with my wife to her favourite shops. By the time I got home, it was too late to start ironing. I put it off until Thursday.

Po południu wyszedłem potruchtać, tym razem Garmin nie zaproponował mi żadnego treningu, a bez konkretnego celu, który muszę wypełnić, trudno jest mi utrzymać odpowiednią dyscyplinę. Sprawdziła się moja obserwacja, bo w pewnym momencie po prostu odeszła mi ochota do kontynuowania biegu. Kilka minut przeszedłem i ponownie zacząłem biec, po kwadransie sytuacja się powtórzyła. Ponownie kilka minut marszu, a kiedy przeszedłem na drugą stronę ruchliwej drogi, po raz trzeci zacząłem biec, tym razem skończyłem pod naszym blokiem.

[ENG] In the afternoon I went for a jog, this time the Garmin didn't suggest a workout and without a specific goal to achieve I find it difficult to maintain proper discipline. My observation proved to be true, as at one point the urge to keep running simply disappeared. I walked for a few minutes and then started running again, and after a quarter of an hour the situation repeated itself. Another few minutes of walking, and as I crossed the busy road I started running for a third time, this time I finished near our block of flats.
