Wczoraj miałem nocną zmianę, a skoro nocna zmiana, to ćwiczenie tuż po północy. Nocny trening podzieliłem na dwie części, na początek trochę pomachałem hantlami, a później powiosłowałem chwilę na ergometrze. Mimo kilku dni przerwy w treningu siłowym nie miałem zakwasów po treningu. Najwidoczniej pierwszy raz jak ćwiczyłem podszedłem do tego zbyt ambitnie, albo za bardzo optymistycznie.

[ENG] Yesterday I had a night shift and as it was the night shift I did my training just after midnight. I split the night's training into two parts, first doing a bit of weightlifting and then rowing on the ergometer for a while. Despite a few days off strength training, I had no soreness after the workout. Apparently I was too ambitious or too optimistic the first time I exercised.

W ciągu dnia, kiedy już się obudziłem, postanowiłem zrobić sobie wolne od biegania, potrzebowałem takiego dnia na regenerację. Myślałem o spacerze, ale nie sądziłem, że zrobimy to z żoną w Soignies. Wszystko to przez belgijską kolej i jej weekendowy rozkład jazdy. Z racji tego, że w trakcie weekendu trwają jakieś prace na odcinku między Jurbise a Soignies, to nie kursują pociągi z Mons do Brukseli. Jest jakaś komunikacja zastępcza, ale zwykle to długo trwa, dlatego córka poprosiła nas, żeby ją odwieźć do Soignies na pociąg. Korzystając z okazji, że tam byliśmy, to poszliśmy na spacer po mieście.

I thought about going for a walk, but I didn't think we'd be able to do it with my wife in Soignies. It was all down to the Belgian railways and their weekend timetable. Because there is some work going on between Jurbise and Soignies at the weekend, there are no trains from Mons to Brussels. There is a kind of substitute transport, but it usually takes a long time, so my daughter asked us to drive her to Soignies to catch the train. We took the opportunity to have a walk around the town.
