Lunch Out, Movie & My Actifit Report Card: June 17 2024

in Actifit7 months ago (edited)

As soon as I woke up, I had a big smile as it was holiday down here and it is a Monday! How cool is that? LOL. Then, I got a message reminding me about a lunch out for a friend’s birthday. Honestly, I had forgotten about it. So, I quickly tackled the unfinished chores from yesterday and did a bit of work on my lesson for tomorrow night. Just three more Tuesdays and my online course will be over. I can't wait! It’s been a good course, but the timing is tough because I don't get enough sleep before work the next morning. Wednesdays have become zombie days for me, which is a bit of a struggle.

A few hours later, my friend picked me up and off we went to lunch. It was great catching up with everyone and the food was delicious. We stayed for about an hour and a half, then headed home. On our way back, out of nowhere, I asked if they wanted to see "How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies." They all agreed immediately, which was awesome – we were all on the same wavelength. I couldn't go to my fitness dance class, so going to the cinema was a nice distraction.

I booked tickets for the 4:30 show since we needed to go home to grab our jackets. It was raining, and we didn't want to freeze in the cinema. It’s always cold in there, and we had an hour and a half to kill, so it worked out perfectly.

As for the movie? I'd rate it a 6/10. The plot was very realistic, which made it a bit slow at first, and I was sleepy during the first half. But I did cry towards the end. Someone behind us was sobbing quite loudly, and I even heard someone say, "Tissue, please." Yep, it's a sad, realistic movie that hits hard, especially if you can relate.
