My Actifit Report Card: December 4 2024

in Actifit8 days ago

Darnit, I am beginning to think that Actifit doesnt like my little walking escapades.

Again... it's not recorded my full walk, for some reason, it seems to get stuck after I make a post and the only way to correct it is to restart my phone, which is a pain in the backside.
🙄

Anyway, walked over 4 miles, weight training in a jiffy then study and bed,

Take care and good night.💪

Technology can be frustrating sometimes. But still walking over 4 miles and doing weight training is impressive 😊 Are you from Turkey? I came across your profile while browsing posts related to Turkey, but I can't quite remember. I might have seen you before.

Merhaba Damla,
Nasilsiniz? Üzgünüm, sadece biraz Türkçe biliyorum ama hala öğreniyorum.Ama Türkçe çok zor bir dildir!!!😲

I am originally from Scotland, but I also live in Ankara. In a few weeks, I will return to Ankara and should be there for about a year. My work is in Archaeology, Aerospace Engineering, and Animations, next year I hope to be running a project at Ankara Castle.

Merhaba Dave 🤗 Çok haklısın. Bence de Türkçe zor bir dil. Ben de sonradan öğrendim 😊
You have such an amazing job. 🌸 I'm especially interested in archaeology. I visited Ankara castle this year and there was some restoration work going on there. I also visited the Museum of Anatolian civilizations, which is right across from it and I absolutely loved it. It's a wonderful museum. I'm very curious about what you'll be working on at Ankara castle. Please keep me updated about the Ankara Castle project 😊

Fantastic. It's a lovely area.
Hopefully our projcet will start sometime next year but if it goes ahead we will have to scan/catalogue every part of the Castle and every brick and stone... It'll be a long process.

One thing I like about Ankara Castle is the many layers of history in the walls, this sort of "spolia" is rare in the UK.

I can keep you updated but I don't often post anything interesting on Hive. 😬

Scanning each brick and stone must be such an exciting experience.
I am already eagerly looking forward to it.

Same here.
I haven't been posting much, mostly because I have exams right now.
I just come by now and then to catch up with friends. 😊
