surprise surprise! i am here again, back in ochanomizu, the same place i was in yesterday. who knew i would be here again? i did! but not initially, for sure i did not plan to be here yesterday. it just happened, and now i do not know what pictures to post. today, i did came with @ohlnwwlknat and 2 others. but let me talk of the walk back home first. that would end in just a breeze.
walk home
after everything, we finally decided to go home. i checked fitbit and wow, i definitely lacked steps. quite expected, we rode the train to this area so no step count there. i decided to walk back home, i know it was not that far as confirmed yesterday. this will just be a short 7k step nightwalk. i finally had the chance to take pictures of the musical side of this place which was also known for musical instrument shops both for pre loved and brand new ones. they just have so many in this place.
finally reached this bridge near the ochanomizu station. even though i was trying to walk fast, i still manage to take quite good pics. taking quick pictures is sometimes a hit but mostly a miss for me. at that end, i will have to turn right then turn a left before the archy thingy. it will be a straight path most of the time from there on. i just wished there were more things to capture on this path, but it was just late.
i was walking swiftly at this point, there was no time to play pokemon go. this walk will take at least an hour so i will be back home past 10pm for sure. looking back, i am now starting to think if this was a bad decision. no one asked me to walk, i did it to myself. oh my, why was @ohlnwwlknat so supportive when i told him that i was gonna walk home? here was the archy thingy i talked about earlier, might as well take a quick pic.
i surely was walking as fast as i could (i have pretty much said the same thing over and over at this point). reaching uguisudani station, i was close to home. this one was a familiar path, i could navigate here with my eyes closed. oops, i take that back; it crosses a bridge above the train tracks, it will be scary to walk with no eyes on i, i might fall off. just look at those trains! they just zoomed by! from here on, 2k steps more and i'm back home. i'm getting accurate with my estimates, i sure have travelled here so many times to know by now.
snowboard sub / main plot
this was why we came here in ochanomizu in the first place. this was the actual main plot of the night. that is, if i were the main character of that night this would also be the main plot of this post as well. but i was a mere side character, so this will just be a sub plot to my entry tonight. the main character who planned this whole thing actually bought a snowboard and boots complete set. he already paid last sunday and was just here to pick the items up after they attached all the parts to the board. i kind of egged @ohlnwwlknat to buy a set since we were already here and the boards were just so tempting, i knew he would like to have a set too. but he retorted that he would only buy if i will also buy a set; oh that is just sad. he won't be buying anything for the next couple more years if he continues to depend on me.
but i did bought goggles! i don't mind cheaper ones as long as they are comfortable to wear and does the job. that also goes the same with clothes, shoes, and all other stuff. finding a cheaper, but useful stuff wins it all. that would also be the same with snowboards, BUT (and it is a very big but) i just don't see any advantage in investing on this expensive hobby when i could only enjoy it in just fewer times than i could count in one hand in one year. a snowboard trip already costs a lot to begin with, and snow only falls on 4 months, and this exhausting hobby is difficult to do in consecutive weeks. my home country does not have snow, either. so that sums up my case. i love the sport, but not investing much.

@coinjoe was right, this is a great examply of a high-quality Actfit-themed post. I'm amazed at just how clean the sidewalks are, which is why I knew it couldn't be in tghe US. :) I love the ambiance shown in these night photos, and the shot of the well-lit tunnel offers an inviting perspective.The last large picture gives us a sky that seems to go on forever.
