I played a couple of rounds of eighteen-hole disc golf with my friend this morning. We were joined by another player near the end of the first round.
I ended up winning both rounds with +4 and +5 scores. The other players were at +9 and +7. It was a bit windy in the second round in particular and we were all struggling a bit. If it were not as windy we all might have scored four or five points better.
The mosquito issue was much better on my favorite disc golf course today. We were still getting eaten but not nearly as badly. I think the warmer weather has dried up some of the breeding areas or something.
In the evening my son and I played the local nine-basket course and we both scored a -2. He was doing very towards the last few holes.

This pond is for controlling the water runoff during the rainy season. It has filled up with a lot of green stuff now. It is probably not the best place to go for a swim, although the water is colder around here.

Sounds like you had a good couple of games! I see you still get to see your son a fair amount. That is nice of him to make time, I know it will get less as the work at school gets more and more. Still, nice to see him.

The green yuk is usually so slimy looking, but, this looks pretty. :) It keeps the ducks happy and gives them a nice place to breed. Then you can have lots of ducks at the pond! :) Our pond across the street from us really has hosted a lot of Mallards this year, which means that many of them will come back here.

The frog reminds me that recently I was on my back porch one evening watering my flowers and when I turned to go in, I saw a little green'ish frog sitting on the side of my house. It's not the kind of frog I am use to seeing and my back porch is a deck that is up off the ground and he was stuck to the house as high as my head while I was standing on the porch, so he was pretty far off the ground. THEN, the other night I was doing something in my kitchen and when I went to close the curtain over my sink, there was a another little weird frog attached on the outside of the sill, looking in at me. Not sure, but something unusually froggy is going on around here.
No... that slimy green might do wonders for frogs, but it certainly is not inviting for a swim.
There are a lot of frogs around here. I enjoy listening to them and seeing them around. I did not see many frogs where I grew up in Colorado.

How well dear @lightsplasher, not even the mosquitoes, which sting so much, have been able to stop him in his triumphs ak Golf Disc, excellent friend, successes from Venezuela.
Atmosphere that captivates when you are in that place even though it looks ordinary but in the photo it is very good, especially with the presence of animals to complete the photos that we will produce.
