I went out to the eighteen-basket difficult disc golf course to find my lost disc and practice a few holes. This time, I found my lost disc after a short period of searching. I looked at most of the difficult places earlier, and I searched a bit right of where I was looking before and found the disc. Sometimes, the view from the tee pad makes it look like something landed in a different area than it did.
I practiced a few of the holes that I have been having trouble with. I only brought nine discs with me and was missing a few discs that I think it might make the holes easier to play. I was good to get some extra practice on the holes, but I am still not sure how I'm going to play them in the tournament coming up. I can't throw a distance forehand anymore, so I need to figure out how to play these holes on a backhand line.
I might head back out tomorrow morning, but it is getting a bit hot to take Doggie along with me, and there are a lot of people out using the park on the weekend. The yard could use some mowing, so I might do that instead.

I knew it had to have landed close to the distance the basket was from the tee, but it took some time to find it.

I'm so behind! I had unexpected surgery and have been out a while. Even longer because it is hard getting back in.
You can no longer throw a distance forehand? Or did you injure yourself?

I hope things went well for you. Unexpected surgery doesn't sound fun.
The distance forehand went away when I started having shoulder issues a while back. I had to stop playing completely for some time. I'm doing fine on the backhand and the forehand approach works well too. It feels like I'm gradually recovering so I think eventually my distance forehand will be back.

It was really hiding well that time. Maybe an orange or red disc would show up better in such a place but any color is difficult when covered over with leaves like that.

I'm glad to hear you got your lost disc yesterday, did you use any special equipment to get into the bush? must have been a great day playing golf today , I saw the weather was so sunny there and too many bushes on the course this time , definitely you have to be careful when throwing your disc
I did use my Kwik-Stik disc recovery tool to search around in the bushes. The disc was not in any of the bushes I was searching though. It was covered up with enough leaves to make it hard to spot in a more open area.

In fact, it is true that when a necessary thing is lost, it does not leave its illusion and you dare to look for your lost countries in difficult places before where you thought it might be here but did not find it.
Still, it's really a good thing that you got the ones that were lost the day before.

I do spend some time looking for a disc that I have learned to throw well. Especially if it is in an area I can reach and know about where it is.
