So, I went to our village garden to mostly check on things and see if the semi wildflowers such as the Crocus, and the Snowdrop, of which I planted some bulbs int he ground last year, have survived and if they will grow again this season.
Perhaps it's too early to see them all, perhaps the grass there is too messy for me to see all the results, but I did find some results.
A few snowdrops at three different spots in the yard and a single batch of crocuses.
I hoped for more of the latter, but there is still time. And, I wonder if I should leave them like that or if I should spread them thin across a larger area once more.
I'd like to leave things to Nature at some point but still keep the species on my turf. After all, they do grow in the wild at the same altitude and no further than ten kilometers, as the bird flies, from that place.
