I did not get an extended amount of sleep which was my original plan as my body is already used to being up by the time the Sun is out. However, I did enjoy my morning with some good coffee as I caught up on some things I want to handle this weekend. I quickly ran out of time as I had to head to the gym for a workout class which was focus on my core today. It was brutal and took my core to the limits which I am sure will come with some soreness.
Given the workout, I decided to also take care of my body with an extended visit to the Spa. I spent plenty of time in the Steam Room and Saunca but skipped the Jacuzzi as it was too popular today. I also was able to plunge into the cold therapy as the section was open again. I thought my resistant would be down given the time that has past since my last session but I was able to get three dips for a minute each. I took care of my body nice and early to get some work done at home.

Cold plunge sounds awesome. How are you finding the cold practice with your sauna/steam routine?
I actually look forward to it now! I can't explain it well but my body feels beyond refreshed afterwards despite the short amount of time in there.
I've always done a blast of cold water at the end of my showers, but only for a few seconds. I've never thought to stay under the cold water for a minute. Seems very imposing.
