How I Experienced Too Much of Snow in Ryuoo Ski Park

in Actifit22 hours ago (edited)

Introduction

Last Saturday, I went for another snowboarding and this time with my friends. This trip was already planned two months ago with the help of @thinkeringbart. As the date of our night bus was getting closer, I got more and more excited because there were more people going with us than usual. So, without any delay, let me tell you the story of how I experienced too much of snow in Ryuoo Ski Park.

We arrived at the place around five in the morning and it was still dark plus shops were still closed. When everyone was settled and got the orientation from @thinkeringbart, we headed to another place where we could sleep for a while. We were the first one to arrive there so we got to pick which spots we could sleep on the floor.

I woke up two hours after and almost everyone was out of bed. Observing who was still there, I picked up the things I used and folded them nicely. After that, I joined with my other friends to the dining area as we were given a free cup noodle by the receptionist.

After eating our free breakfast, I joined with my two other friends to get our lift tickets. Then, majority of us headed to the rental place in order to get our gear and wear. Then, when everyone was done preparing, we straight up went to the ski area to ride the first lift.

I could say that the quality of the snow was great in my opinion after I went for a short slide. In addition, the condition of the place is good for beginners and to others who wanted to try some snowboarding tricks. At that time, I wished that the ski park would have that kind of snow level all throughout the day. But my wish was not granted.

On the way to my first slide of the day

Right after lunch, we decided to continue snowboarding and I suggested that we should head up higher. I was little bit bummed out, but I understand their reason. To give you context, the place up high had a little visibility, and it was falling more snow than the usual while the strong wind was blowing. At that time, I was confident I could slide down even with that condition, but I was glad that they didn’t challenge my idea.

We went down below by riding the gondola and headed to another slope that they suggested. At first slide of that slope, it was my best slide of the day, and I showed some kind of tricks to my other friends. Then, for the second run, the thick fog came, but I could manage that or so I thought.

It started snowing heavier and stronger and I couldn't see clearly because of my cheap goggles. There was a point that I closed my eyes while sliding down and I even managed to record it with my X4 camera. Also, my left hand which was used to hold the selfie stick was hurting. After finishing the slide, I headed inside a building to get myself warm. When I was all warmed up, I decided to head back down to the summit and finish my run with only five slides total.

Afterword

Even though I only got five runs in the Ryuoo Ski Park, I still enjoyed my stay there. If I could experience that kind of weather condition again, then I hope that I don't have cheap accessories anymore. As my friend said, the weather was way too much perfect and I fully agree. I wish it was just the right amount of snow, Anyhow, this is all of the story that I wanted to tell you. If you have reached this part, thank you so much for reading. Until next time, see ya!
