A Day Full of Emotions and Steps
The winter break was over, so the morning started at full speed—getting the kids ready for school, jumping into the car, and making it to work by 7:30. And at preschool? Pure madness! Cleaning the classroom, a dress rehearsal, decorating, and finally—the big costume change. Yesterday was a special day because our group had a Grandparents’ Day performance.
The kids did an amazing job! We were not only proud but also deeply moved. The whole performance was a success—the grandparents’ smiles and applause said it all. After the show, there was, of course, cleaning up to do, and just as I was catching my breath, I glanced at my phone… and there was a surprise! My husband had picked up the car from the preschool so I could walk home instead. A true gem!
I started walking, and soon enough, my wonderful husband met me halfway so we could walk home together. It was the perfect moment after such an intense day. Once home, a quick shower, and I collapsed. My step counter was kind to me—20,014! No wonder exhaustion hit me so hard.
A day full of emotions, but ending with a wonderful walk and even better company. I love surprises like that!
Dzień pełen emocji i kroków
Ferie się skończyły, więc poranek ruszył w ekspresowym tempie – wyprawić dzieci do szkoły, szybko do auta i na 7:30 zameldować się w pracy. A w przedszkolu? Istne szaleństwo! Porządki w sali, próba generalna, dekorowanie i na koniec – wielkie przebieranie. Wczoraj był wyjątkowy dzień, bo w naszej grupie odbyło się przedstawienie z okazji Dnia Babci i Dziadka.
Dzieci spisały się na medal! Byłyśmy z nich nie tylko dumne, ale i wzruszone. Całe przedstawienie wyszło rewelacyjnie – uśmiechy dziadków i brawa mówiły same za siebie. Po występie czekało nas oczywiście sprzątanie, a ja, ledwo łapiąc oddech, zerknęłam na telefon... i tu niespodzianka! Mój mąż odebrał auto spod przedszkola, żebym mogła wrócić do domu spacerem. Prawdziwy skarb!
Ruszyłam pieszo, a po chwili okazało się, że mój kochany mąż wyszedł mi na spotkanie, byśmy mogli razem wrócić do domu. To była idealna chwila po tak intensywnym dniu. W domu szybki prysznic i… padłam na twarz. Mój licznik kroków był dla mnie łaskawy – 20 014! Nic dziwnego, że zmęczenie dało o sobie znać.
Pełen emocji dzień, ale zakończony cudownym spacerem i jeszcze lepszym towarzystwem. Uwielbiam takie niespodzianki!
