80s Sunset - A Synthwave Instrumental

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

You are shuffling through an old cardboard box in the attic and find some VHS tapes that the leak in the ceiling damaged. For nostalgia's sake you take one of the VHS tapes and unravel the tape and rewind it inside the casing. Next you borrow your neighbor's VHS player and see what was on the tape. The water has damaged the color and there are some noise artifacts in the footage but you can barely make out a sunset on a California beach in the early 80s. Now you remember the surfing road trip you took when you were much younger and all the great times you had camping next to your old VW bus. Though the footage is damaged it has awakened the memory and the images are clear in your mind.

Happy #synthsaturday

Ah VHS tapes, I remembered this was in thrend before. Unfortunately we don't own in the house as we couldn't afford, 😂

Llolz, it is well

Hah this is true, houses are way to expensive, but vhs tapes are quite cheap.

Nice tape. Never even hear of it before but I love it hearing it here

I just made it this past week on my midi keyboard.

That's nice man

Good to know I'm not the only one stuck in the 80s lol we were debating something that happened at our wedding the other day and thought hey we have it on tape...then realized it was VHS 🤦‍♂️ so I guess that means I'm right 😁 not one can prove otherwise lol

Video tape proof. Now we have deepfakes that can refute video tape proof lol. I knew a guy 15 years ago who was making a killing off converting vhs to dvd, I bet now he is converting all those dvds to mp4s.

I like it.
My tases in Electronic music really got started in the 80s.

I'm just getting into it since I got a midi controller I can use on my train commute in to work everyday. The 80s has some really cool vibes for electronic music.
