Three Tune Tuesday - Obscure Solo Albums

in Music8 days ago

Here is Derrick Sheridian the first keyboardist for Dream Theater with a Zakk Wylde collaboration. After quitting Dream Theater he never really made it big and bounced around between obscure bands and solo projects. Here are some obscure solo albums for this #threetunetuesday by @ablaze

Here is Dug Pinnick the bassist from King's X with a strange instrumental. He has more solo albums than albums with his main band that range from prog rock to soul.

Here is John Petrucci the guitarist from Dream Theater with a solo project. Pretty much sounds exactly like Dream Theater but without the singing.

That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)

Wow, what a great selection, I liked these songs, instrumental but with a rock touch. They are going to my repertoire XD

Yeah I'm a big fan of all instrumental music. Great for working to.

Nice tunes to work through Hive with them playing in the background 👍 interesting that solo albums sometimes keep bands together but sometimes tear them apart...

In prog rock it seems to signal either the band getting broken up or that player getting replaced.

Musicals take you on a journey all of their own, never heard of any of these musicians nor the Dream Theater.

Fresh to find obscure albums otherwise lost in time!

I think dream theater is still around, though the keyboardist, singer and drummer have changed over the years.

Most establishments we knew are gone, always a comfy thought if a couple of yours are still around.
