Good day, am happy to write once more and I appreciate @kiss for your efforts.
I grew up in Ohafia, Abia State, as my mother's only child. My life was simple and uneventful until my father passed away. The unexpected loss left a gap in our home, prompting my mother to teach me the art of minimalism. I recall feeling as if it were a punishment rather than a lesson. At first, I couldn't see the rationality of her actions. My mother's new routines seemed to be relentless. She would spend hours methodically organising every area of our house, tossing goods we no longer needed and insisting on creating things herself rather than buying pre-made
. I remember refusing her pleas to help with gardening or cleaning, thinking these were just responsibilities put on me to make my life more difficult. "Why are we spending so much time on this when we could simply buy what we need?" I'd mutter internally. She appeared to be attempting to deprive me of the conveniences I had grown accustomed to, rather than providing any genuine benefit.
How embracing a simpler lifestyle brought me peace, gratitude, and a deeper connection to the world around me."

Hi. Thank you for responding to the #KISS prompt. Here are a couple of notes, if I may.
For one thing, I don't feel I learned anything from this post about you or your story. The content feels very general. The whole point in our community is empowering the individual and shining a light on authentic content. So as much as we welcome and encourage engagement, I would strongly recommend steering away from generic content.
Secondly, I would spend a little more time on structure, as several of the sentences here end abruptly and incoherently. It makes it difficult for the reader.
Thanks. :)
Noted..Thanks

Amazing content dear.
It must have been hectic having to change the way you lived, after you dad passed on. My condolences.
I'm happy you were able to find the joy in minimalism and the satisfaction. When people talk about minimalism, they think it equates to living a boring life.
But you being able to recognize eventually in the long run that minimalism brings a certain satisfaction, that is a privilege.
Well done and nice story
