Every now and then, we need to look at the sky...
Especially evening skies... ~ at sunset, during twilight and blue hour; and since it's Sunday today, it's #goldenhourphotography time! And I always have some sky or sunset shots on hand to show you.
I've said it before (and I'll say it again) sometimes, I just enjoy the interesting light in the evenings, not just the brilliant, fiery, drama skies... but also some evenings, the peace and calm permeates from the heavens downwards... shouldn't we just enjoy the atmosphere then?!
Nothing fancy, not too much drama, just some nice colours in the sky!
And always the same view, out of the front windows of my home... but with Mother Nature, the scene is always different!

Silver-blue-grey can be soothing shades for the evening too, especially coupled with silhouettes of nearby tree tops, some dark shapes suggesting of branches of delicate leaves, and bare branches that never fail to add charm to the scene... Too bad my favourite bare branches (and also favourites of the birds and monkeys) finally dried up and fell away
Then there are the drama skies... everyone's favourites!
Ribbons of fiery orange, yellows and reds fluttering across the heavens, like flames licking the clouds and almost touching the structures of the land
And the drama skies complement the city skyline even better... not to mention the leafy leaves... oohhhh....
And here, you can see when the pin pricks of night lights come on - pretty!

Shades.... colours, layers of shades... and colours.... with a dark ominous cloud roof!
Clouds looking almost like a skeletal hand, pointing to the heavens...
