Haha you do sound like a frequent visitor here in Singapore!
Yeah I actually love our public transport system, its so efficient 😊
Wow $7k Australian dollars is insane for a trip over a weekend to catch the race, you must be really passionate to follow the teams all over the world! Which team are you rooting for? 😁
I've been there more than fifteen times...less than twenty.
The MRT is great, I use it all the time. I like that musical voice that says, train is coming. Cracks me up every time.
I don't really have t team as such, I like a few of them, a few drivers too. I guess I just love the racing and the complexities of the sport. There's two Australian drivers I follow, one who drives for McLaren and the other for AlphaTauri...but I like others as well, Fernando Alonso, Alexander Albon...I just like the whole ting.
Followed by the "Door is closing, tu tu tu tu..." sound 😂
I love the drama shown in the Netflix series and could really feel the intensity and pressure the drivers are going through each season. Afterall there are really just 20 seats available in the whole world! Its crazy 😬
Well, I've been an F1 fan for a long time so I get you completely...It's really quite an interesting sport, and the advancements they make, not just with the vehicles but the telemetry and all...it's all making its way into general population and that's not a bad thing.
Oh one thing that I thought the series could do better is to somehow explain the rules for a little bit more. For someone that is completely new to motorsports, some of the scene just confuses me! 😅
My wife and I were like, what's going on, why, how? 😱 HAHAHA!
The rules and regulations are many, more than a simply TV show could ever cover, there's pages and pages of it and it wouldn't be very interesting for those who don't really know the sport that well. The show is designed to bring supporters, not bite them to death I guess. Besides, the sporting and technical regulations change each year.
Haha yeah it seems like it from the show, there are just so many politics and drama involved behind the scenes! I love those stories 😅
Yeah maybe if I'm curious enough and could spare some time to read up on those basic rules before the actual race day will be nice!
There's loads of information on apps and websites, it's a massive sport and you'll have no trouble finding the information you seek. I'd suggest that you don't try to delve too deeply, just find out what you need to know to get a little more engaged with it as it'll deepen your enjoyment when you're at the track.
