Hi everyone, dear friends and Hivers, I hope you're enjoying the end of the year and the energies that are inevitably linked to it. What I mean by this is that by spending more time with our loved ones and seeing those we've seen less of, we can understand things that weren't necessarily obvious to us before !
One of the things that has become clear is that without my grandmother (and a few other factors) I might never have developed such a passion for plants !
Now we're at my grandparents' and I realize how lucky I am that they're both still here.
This plant is bursting with life, flowering even in the depths of winter when the light and heat are just right.
I haven't found their names yet, but it won't be long before I do - these are classics after all.
Even so, I have to say that this is the very first time I've seen its flowers. Strange, isn't it, for someone who's been interested in succulents for years and is now discovering the flowers of a fairly widespread species? I have to say I don't have it at home either.
Another plant that's doing wonderfully here is the bougainvillea ! I think this one is a Bougainvillea glabra, but it's entirely possible that I'm wrong too !
In any case, unless we put a specimen in a greenhouse at home in the countryside, I'm not sure this plant would do so well further north ! All the pictures were taken with my phone, unfortunately I was too busy when I left Paris ^^.
I hope you've enjoyed this article and thank you for visiting, take good care,

A lovely flower!
The picture you used in your tumbnail we called it "bougainvillea" . you plant is beautiful and colorful. Greetings🤗
Our Grandparents especially our grandma really loves to collect ornamental and flowering plants just like this one. For me, I think this is their hobby to intertain themselves and it keeps them relaxing everytime when they seen the pretty flowers.😊
I really like secular plants, the flowers are very beautiful, but your grandma seems to really like flowers, you look at some neatly arranged secular flowers, that's a sign that your grandma loves flowers very much.
Our grandparents has a way of connecting with nature and one of it was having these plants and flowers. They look very healthy and beautiful
For example, I have to learn to take photos at you. your photos are extraordinary. Bougainvillea flowers are flowers on the toll road and look ordinary. but, in this photo it is very beautiful
Your gradma obviously did quite well in inspiring you about plants. 😆 And it's a good thing she did!
I lost my grandparents years ago. But I'm grateful for the time I have been granted with them even though losing them hurt...
I wish your grandparents all the best and may they live a long and fufilled life!
Take care dear @anttn
Yes, it's hard to lose loved ones, even harder if you've been close to them ! I must have always been special, I can't see the spirits, but I can feel them with me... That's why some people who have left seem almost more present in my daily life, in one way or another...
Thank you kindly dear @aaskablackwolf !
Enjoy the holidays break before the business ✌️
I see familiar plants. We call them "Decembrists". One such "Decembrist" is preparing to bloom on my window))
Ah ! I didn't know this naming :)
A late thank you for this information !
I wish you an happy New Year @avada ✌️
