Tall masts that decorate the cloudy sky and where the shy rays of the sun try to reach to caress the non-existent sails.
I love boats, maybe because of an inheritance from my grandfather. He liked them very much, he used to fish and race boats, he loved the sea and when he came back from fishing in large quantities he used to give them away to the people in the neighbourhood. I think that love for the sea and boats is an inheritance that he left me, I was not able to enjoy those things with him, he left very early in my life, but I have the memories of what my family tells me.
When I see a ship I get excited, a means of transport and trade that has been used since ancient times and that today has taken various forms, from sailing ships, launches, boats, to gigantic and luxurious cruise ships, as well as warships. There are all kinds and I love them all.
Seeing this ship reminded me of the countless times in my painting classes when I asked my teacher to paint ships. Even when I was sick and couldn't go, I would send my mother to find me some of the hundreds of drawings and images that my teacher had for drawing and painting ships at home.
When I lived in Argentina, although the city was close to the water and there was a port, I didn't go there. I couldn't walk there, it was far enough away to do that.
But now I can see them very often and all the time new ships are arriving in the port and in the cruise ship area, that makes the view very happy.
A few days ago I was walking around these places and I came across this big ship, I had seen it one night, but not like this. According to what I was told, it is a school ship from Denmark and I have seen numerous boys and girls dressed as sailors, going around the city, whom I immediately recognised as belonging to a northern European country.
On this ship that goes to various parts, cities and ports, they learn all about sailing and it was nice to see so many young people in that spirit. In fact, I saw more women than men and that surprised me.
But the most beautiful thing was to see this boat in the afternoon hours when the sun was starting to go down and how it was illuminated. It didn't have its sails up and that gave it a mysterious and beautiful air.
I walked from one end of the ship to the other trying to capture its splendour and beauty. It looked like a ship sailing through the clouds and I really enjoyed seeing its details, its structure, the people inside working on it. Quite a big ship.
When I had walked halfway along it, the light changed as I turned around to take pictures, now the clouds were foam, sea foam, but in the sky.
It was me moving, but I had the impression, and now looking at the pictures even more, that it was the boat moving away from me in the clouds.
The sunlight gave me a double focus and that was very pleasing, as I always say different points of view, and in life the same applies. The light can illuminate different aspects and so see different sides of the same subject.
I love to discover wonders wherever I go and this was one of them. Thank you all for joining me, I wish you a very good Sunday. See you soon.

I love this kind of boats, the sailboats, I haven't visited the ones in Puerto Madero for a long time haha but they all have the same or similar architecture, so it's as if I had boarded this boat in the pictures 🦉
