Yes, say you have a yellowish to olive skin tone... you wear a red wig.... the wig will look more orange and the skin will look more white. It's a strange thing and a lot of it has to do with the lighting as well. I used to work at a paint store and had to match colors and it's crazy how a small amount of green will neutralize any red. It's a good thing to keep in mind when you are coordinating colors.

Damn that’s awesome! It also took me a while to find out I have olive skin and for me to realize that, I have to compare how my skin looks like next to my friends. And I’m always so yellow 💀
No wonder you know so much about this! Even I as an artist I stopped bothering understanding them hahah and I can always just rely on my intuition on what looks good and weird without knowing the WHY. 😂 Your knowledge will be so useful in fashion and makeup.
