There is a rule, love all others as you love yourself.

My work with and study of trauma and the like has shown me that the only reason humans do traumatic things to one another is because they don't love themselves.

When we do know how to be really kind an loving to ourselves we know how to be kind and loving to others, humans and all other creatures.

      So right as we were taught the same thing about trauma. The perpetrators understand love for the self to mean a selfish desire to rule and to destroy all of those that threaten their rule. Such in the case of a "loving" husband killing his wife in front of their little children to show them his rule. Not thinking what those little ones have to go through.

      Too few of those that understand love around these days my friend. Sadly too few!

            Oh yes, and the willing to learn part is the most important. Compassion and patience work for us, but it is very slow going. Nevertheless, we will not give up.
