Something about cherry blossom trees and my cherry red Lincoln MKZ just go so well together. Now that it is spring season here, I am finding a lot of beautiful trees like this one to photograph my new car with.

You may remember a few weeks ago when I took a bunch of awesome photos of the car with a different tree. If you missed those, go have a look for some more angles.

Much like a lot of women, this car is best viewed from behind. It's also got to be freshly washed like it was on this day, otherwise, there is no point in taking photographs.

I'm approaching the 2-month mark of owning this car. At that time I have already grown to love it quite much. It's not the perfect car by any means, but there is so much to enjoy with it that I really can't complain one bit.

If I were forced to say a few negative things about it, they would be:

  1. The gas mileage is atrocious. I average 15mpg in the city. I haven't done a bunch of long-distance highway driving yet, but I assume it is at least in the low 20s.
  2. Way too much chrome for my taste. I wish all the chrome on the car was blacked out, or better yet carbon fiber-wrapped.
  3. No window tint means the sun beats down on me when I'm parked in a parking lot without shade.
  4. The Bluetooth occasionally fails to connect for some odd reason. It's still miles better than not having Bluetooth audio like my last car.
  5. The trunk open button is underneath the license plate in the back. I don't know why on earth it is located there instead of higher on the trunk. I can use my key to unlock it too, but I barely use my keyfob at all with this car because pretty much everything happens automatically.

There is far more good things about this car than there are bad. Now that I've degraded it a tiny bit, time to boost my ride's confidence back up through the sunroof.

My favorite things about the car are:

  1. The tech is insanely nice. It has an endless amount of cool features that make being in and driving the car pretty amazing.
  2. It has great speed and is a lot of fun to drive.
  3. The sound system bangs and I am constantly listening to EDM while I’m driving.
  4. I’ve gotten a lot more compliments on the looks than I expected. It’s usually older men who appreciate it, but I guess to them Lincoln’s are just badass. The younger generations just don’t get it.
  5. Storage space is nearly unlimited. The trunk is huge and the back seat is also very useable.

One thing that is both a good and bad thing about the car is how low it is to the ground. I have always loved the look of lowered cars and this car out of the factory looks like I purchased lowering springs for it. If I went any lower than stock it would basically be slammed. I love the look, but I have to be very careful with it. Some driveways are difficult to safely enter and exit. Others are literally impossible. Luckily I’ve always had lower cars so I’m used to it, just never this low.

Overall I am happy with my purchase and feel very lucky to own this 2013 Lincoln MKZ.

She is a beauty alright. The more money she helps you make the more you will grow to love her lol. One day you will have to go for a highway spin and let us know what gas mileage you get.

This thing is not only my method of transportation and subject of many photos, but also my only reliable co-worker.

First long distance trip I take will surely be interesting.

Come to think of it, I just noticed how low the car is. A car like this will be very difficult to drive where am from, especially in my area where you find huge holes everywhere.

Nonetheless I still think the car is a beauty, not so popular here but makes it look like a new model car.

With so much tech in it I wonder why you don’t have a button in the car that allows you to open the trunk?

We sometimes have potholes here, but I am well-trained at looking out for them. It's awkward driveways that give me problems sometimes.

Well there is a trunk open button inside of the car, on the key fob, and also next to the license plate in the back. When I am putting groceries in the car though, I'm obviously outside of the car. I really never use my key for anything as the car detects it automatically when I get close and doors unlock without me having to pull it out. This is why I never use the trunk open button on my key.

I got the windows and windshield in my car ceramic tinted and it makes a huge difference. Your car will look awesome with the windows all blacked out. Your car looks super clean man. I have always liked the style on Lincolns.

Appreciate it my dude. I’ve thought about getting tint done, it is pretty cheap after all. I just don’t want to have to take a day off from being able to drive. I’m in grind mode I guess.

Get that paper man. When I got my windows done, I just traded the guy some weed and he hooked me up. If you do ever get the windows done, look into ceramic tint. That stuff works so much better than traditional tint.

I used to trade weed for free haircuts at the barbershop. It's a useful thing to barter with.

I hadn't herd of ceramic tint. Watching a short video about it now.

is this your car?? beautiful looking

Yes this is my car 🤩

Looks great indeed although the Audi didn't had bad looks either. This one is more classy. Enjoy it!

I did love they Audi and it looked great even after over 9.5 years of ownership. The Lincoln does seem more classy, but it has some go in it too.

Beautiful color.

Thanks! I've grown to love it as well.

NO TINT?? :P

its all good. she's still a beauty! classic lines and curves.. :)

It's the first car I've owned that wasn't tinted. I really don't even notice it much unless it's sunny or I'm outside of the car.

Yeah, a Lincoln is like a modern-day classic. It's an acquired taste that the younger generation won't really appreciate, at least for the most part. Usually, I wouldn't really like the color but it really goes well with this car.

I like having a low-key car for many reasons. Although I'm just as likely to drive something flashy in the future. This color was odd to me at first, but the more I see it the more I appreciate it.

Yeah, it actually goes well with that model.

Much like a lot of women, this car is best viewed from behind.

And much like women, there is no way that this car would pass me by and I won't turn to appreciate beauty. The color alone is really charmin'. The car looks really great from the outside apart for how low it is to the ground.

I'm right there with you on that. Gotta admire beauty when it's passes by.

The more i saw your car, the more I fall in love with this beauty.

You and me are in the same boat.

The car looks good
Also, it is my favorite color (red)
I guess you love red too

Red isn't my favorite color, but I do love the paint job on this car a lot.

I do think this car is excellent bang for your buck. I lucked out and got the 300hp 3.7L model with AWD. The newer versions have a 400hp 3.0T that I'm a bit jealous of. I’m not sure how I feel about the hybrid models. I’m sure they at least get great gas mileage.

As for Continental, it is rated better by many journalists than comparable Mercedes or BMW;

It's pretty nice with the way it looks despite the negative part I still love it.

Everything has some negative aspects. I am happy to focus on the many post Ives that this car offers.

Beautiful vehicle, I love the color.

Thank you so much.
