Thanks for the kind words and I wish you well on your new project. For the remote shutter release it is good just to observe first so you know where to set-up you camera. Then when you notice a pattern of where the animal or birds like to be, you can set it up there. I got these photos using a similar process. My dad had seen something around his bird feeder but didn't know what it was so I set-up a remote trigger through my computer and got this

Oh my word Dawn that is the cutest little mouse face ever! I like this idea, I am very keen to give it a go but I'd have to stake out a place that gets frequented regularly and that might take me some time to narrow down. I also want a wood mouse!
