It's a separate plant called ivy. It is actually an invasive plant. It grows around trees but you can also see them on facades of houses. It grows like crazy and can cover the entire facade quickly.

I think that those clouds give character to photos. Of course they would look more perfect with blue sky, but they are more interesting with clouds. The part with mountains would be more interesting to me too 🙂

Thanks for the information! It does seem to climb like crazy. We do have climbing plants here in Estonia too but nothing like this. Ours will lose the leaves too in the winter, unlike those in France, it seems. Of course the winter is totally different too 😅.

Clouds often make things more interesting definitely, but if you really want to see that view then low clouds are a menace.
