Well, it is only about 95 degrees today, which is a few degrees less than the previous days, but it is still very hot and dry. With new fires popping up what seems to be each day, being inside in the air conditioning seems like a better plan. But I decided to brave the afternoon heat and get outside to take some photos.

At the park where my wife and I usually go on our evening walks, there are a lot of birds flying around and I was hoping to catch some in flight today, but I think it was still a bit to early for them. They seem to only come out during the last few hours before sunset, which could make for some really cool photos when I am able to take them.

It must have been too early and hot for the birds to be out flying around because when I got to the spot where the sparrows fly close to the ground, there were no birds out. I am hoping to get a longer lens soon so that I can get up close shots of the birds in action. Right now, my lenses only go up to 100mm, and that won't get me nearly as close as I was hoping for.

Hopefully our bear market doesn't last too much longer because I really want to get another Tamron 150-600. I used to have that lens, but I ended up selling it a few years ago when I was doing more video work and I bought a bunch of cinema lenses, but now I am hoping to get another and do more wildlife photos.

I feel you… trying to capture things and no lens for it. Hope you get it soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Great captures @derangedvisions 😁😎 it surely must have been too hot for the birds. Maybe next time.

Thank you. Hopefully soon I will be able to get that new lens.

You are welcome @derangedvisions 😁👋🏻💃🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Beautiful shots. I spent the weekend out in the woods. I shared some pictures but I'm afraid it was the last of the fresh days as now we face a second heat wave that will last until next Monday and some regions of my country are expecting temperatures of 47 and up which is absolutely insane. Last month, during the previous hate way half of my province set a place and we had so many wildfires that have barely being extinguished and now we are into one week scorched Earth dystopian movie. I know I sound grumpy but I really don't work well in hot weather

This heat is crazy. Hopefully it is just a cycle and we can return to normal and not burn up every summer.

Not reaching that has the highest temperature is already burning and higher temperature is expected tomorrow. It's been pretty hot where I live too and we had a wildfires last month. Last year it was the highest temperature recorded in Spain I was just beating but this happens every year. We have had deviations from temperature in the pose over 20° Celsius so that hasn't happened in hundreds of thousands of years so we should be aware that yeah he might not be a single event. I am not going to preach about this because I know some people agree and some don't but that is my vision and we are just f****** things up or we surf over the tipping point

Cool shots!

I´m also hoping that the bear market doesn´t last for too long. And for the same reason as you. I also want to buy a new telephoto lens. But I´m not completely sure yet which one. I also saw very good photos from Sigma 60=600. So maybe I´ll go for that one ...

Sigma lenses are nice. They have a 150-600 that I have been looking at too.
