Maybe, but not so much with the brown. Purple is made up of blue and red, with which it will always combine, and its derivatives and contrast with yellow.
But there are many variations of purple, so it can be combined with various colours.

At least that's what I learnt in drawing and painting...
If you have yellow flowers you could see how they look together.

No no, the camera is no good without the photographer, that's for sure. you have to be an artist and have a good eye.
