Greetings Photography lovers!
How are you today?
(This is a serious question 😀 feel free to answer below).
As my photography "portfolio" increases I find myself being curious about the different aspects of photography. There is so much to explore in every space that you can truly fill a lifetime with it.
So far, and this has happened semi automatically, if focused a lot on landscapes.
I travel as much as I can and buying my drone has opened up a lot in terms of getting proper shots.
I also like portrait, not as much yet but I like it. I guess this was directly correlated to having the right lens (50mm in this case). But I still have a lot to learn in terms of lighting, poses and editing.
Night Photography
Another area I want to explore, and this is actually what I wanted to talk about today, is Night Photography.
I realize you can combine night photography with all the other ones but in my case I have a thing for the combination of Street photography and night photography. Something about the (empty) streets in a city or a town does something. To me it has a mysterious vibe. I'm sure I'm not alone in this 😀😀😀👀.
On the other hand, you need a light source. I mean I'm not working with night vision cameras or anything 😂.
So today I'm sharing some of my night shots. There is not a specific style, it's mostly something on the fly. I do like the variation of Black and white, and long exposure. Some of them are drone shots others are me just driving around in the middle of the night on one of my famous night drive... And there mostly around Willemstad, Curacao.

As a fair amount of constructive criticism, some of these shots are blurry and not in focus. Having said that, you have some really interesting and incredible shots here. Most of them are in perfect focus and are composed and framed very well. Thanks for sharing your night shots with us! There is definitely a learning curve for nightshoots. Keep up the great work bro!
Hey thanks for the feedback! The B&W church is definitely out of focus, it wasn't supposed to be there 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ (but I'm gonna leave it as creative freedom 😂). But indeed, it's hard to get them in focus sometimes, the drone photos are another challenge all together. The learning will continue 💪😁
