That's certainly a part of it. I think it can help you maybe, certainly after an unexpected loss. But given how long they've been around and what a difficult time we have (still) accepting death, I would've imagined they would've been more useful in that sense by now. I genuinely don't know. All I know is that they don't work for me in that way.

Yes. Completely agree. It's baffling to me more people don't try and sit with it, since it's so universal. It's really the one thing we all have in common, isn't it?

While the concrete angels make for better pictures (though I imagine you could make terrific things with modern camera shutter settings, capturing the spreading of one's ashes. Just a thought. Definitely how I want to go after I go.
