Today I take you along on a walk to see Bjuröklubb peninsula, the #Lighthouse, little #harbour and the #Nature #Reserve around it ~ in LÖVÅNGER, Västerbotten County, in SWEDEN. 🇸🇪 Come along and walk with me to see what I saw 😊 as we saw a lot on this beautiful #sunny #summers day.

Are you ready to start our walk? 😊
Great… let’s go 😁
After we parked our car on the parking 🅿️ we see signs 🪧 pointing us in the right direction. We walk up a long path surrounded by forests 🌳
After a while we see through the trees, if you look closely a little harbour. We will check it out when we walk back to the car. DON’T MISS IT AT THE END… IT IS CUTE 🥰
We see a little building and next to it we find this sign 🪧 with more information about the peninsula, lighthouse and its nature reserve. The wildlife we can expect to find around us too 😊
This is the house, we see there is a restaurant where you could get a drink and simple meal… like sandwiches 🥪 (We did have our lunch break here but I do not recommend it)
Not far beside this building we see a wooden boardwalk. It will lead us to the lighthouse 🤩 soooo exciting… we can not see it yet, come hurry… let’s check it out 😎
On the top we see the roof appearing. We still have to walk much further to get there.
Along the path we see information signs in Swedish. It tells you more about the nature reserve. Its fishing and hunting… for over 1500 YEARS 😳
And…
The first “buildings” / settlements are from the 6th CENTURY. WOW THAT’S A LONG TIME BACK.
Let’s #walk further… we go up and up. The boardwalk is beautiful 🤩 with the trees next to it. 🌳🌲
We see, looking back, the building we came from.
The large rock surface is covered by #moss and little #vegetation.
A sneak peek… we see the yellow of the lighthouse building.

The higher we get the more we see from the Bothnian Bay. As the area we are walking on is a peninsula we are surrounded by water on all sides soon.
Finally we see more of this beautiful #lighthouse.
We look over the trees 🌲 now with the water in the distance.

We walk a bit more… and take in the breathtaking views
It is one big rock 🪨 we are on. The side of the yellow building.
We see the lighthouse from the back. We have to continue over the #boardwalk to reach the front of the #building. 😊
The views are #stunning 🤩
Just look at it! 😳 I could spend some hours here easily haha
I capture this beautiful tree 🌳 look at the branches all crinkly. It stands out against the #backdrop.
So beautiful…
Even the #clouds are stunning… #mothernature can create some beautiful artworks 🥰
Ok ok… yes… we continue to walk further to check out the lighthouse now 😋

Along the #path more information about how lighthouses started to appear after they used fires first to guide ships.
We are now right in front of the lighthouse. Isn’t she beautiful?

The lighthouse building as it is now is from 1859. See the numbers in the brick 🧱 facade.
We walk further around it and take in more from the views.
Everywhere you look is just WOW 🤩

We walk back down over the boardwalk all the way past the building with restaurant and onto the gravel path.
We see steps down towards the harbour… yes, we shouldn’t forget to check it out. More information signs 🪧 at the bottom of the steps. It is in Swedish, English and German.
It also gives you more information about things in the surroundings.
We walk further and see little cabins along the harbour.
Come quick… we have more to discover 😎
We walk towards the pier.
Just have a look… so cute. Very peaceful ☺️ a few little boats 🚤

My favourite photo of today 🥰 the rope makes for some nice #details with a lovely background of the little harbour.
We look at the cabins… such a beautiful setting. Don’t you think?
We walk all the way to the end.
Yes, I truly enjoyed this walk together. We saw so much today… I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Happy #wednesdaywalk Beautiful views! I love the little lions on an otherwise simple, clean design. The lighthouse looks short haha I guess its easier to build a short lighthouse on top of a hill 🙂 than a tall lighthouse by the water

This is one of my favourite places I visited last year. The lighthouse is beautiful. I like them too.
I can read most of it yes 😉 lot’s of Dutch words in there… at least very similar. I speak Dutch and German fluently… my 2 mother languages. Swedish is easier when you speak both.

Languages was never my strong point other than being able to order a beer in many languages thats it lOL
It is still something hahaha
I wasn’t good at languages when I was young. (I thought)
But when I moved to Spain in 2015 and started picking it up really quickly I found out I can speak a lot of languages… after that I am just adding them now. Learned even some Maltese… when we lived there. English I only started in 2011 due to my artworks. Learning right now 2 new ones haha
It is fun, let’s see how far it gets me.

I love lighthouses! But this one seems unique with lots of things to do and lots of space for walking around on the walkways!

That seems quite squat for a light house, I am used to seeing them tall and tapering, but I guess it has got what looks like a humungus lamp inside which must compensate
Hahaha that huge lamp does compensate for the shorter light house 🤣😂
Maybe the meters of snow have something to do with it too and the wind. It is a very rough area in the winter 🥶
