I would really suggest getting a camera. It's really a different experience. I have samsung a10s that just does the job but compared to that camera result is definitely different. And you're right, fresh air,being outside are good for creativity. So in this case, camera would help plus people are going to be more welcoming than if you point and shoot with smartphone.
