This is a Model T Ford and I also have a nice old Royal Enfield bike to show you in here.
Just a bit of a humorist comparison between these classics and us as old people.I have a good friend on hive whose name is Lady #lizzie aka #silver-blond-lizzie of the #silverbloggers fame and my reason for stating this will soon be revealed. These vehicles are not at a car show, as they are in regular use on our roads in town. Quite often we see them and also other classics driving around and I have posted a few of them before.
Lovely firm leather coated seats and some of us can do with an uplift of our sagging seats :)
A good comparison here as we are also neat and simple.
We all love a comfortable couch.
Have a look at the right rear mudguard to see the name of this car.
Yep! Lady Lizzie. They say that as we age, then sooner or later we will also become classics, but I doubt that we will be in such a pristine condition as these old vehicles are :)
Genuine wooden wheel spokes on its feet and our human feet wish that they had seen better times.
How is this for a lamp?
Nice eyes and our eyes are misty and hazy.
Just good looking all over and no comment about our looks here :)

I have a friend in the city of Cape Town that owns a Royal Enfield agency and they rent their bikes out to tourists and travelers to explore the cape winelands. They also have sidecars on some of the bikes and bike drivers to take people around that do not have bike driving licenses. As the passengers in the sidecars are not driving, they are free to do as many wine tastings as they like, and I think that some can get hilariously funny in a slow sidecar when they have had too many wine tastings. Hitting the bumps in a side car, and a queasy stomach doesn't go well on an open road:)

Absolutely correct, and totally agreed, but nurturing and all that goes with it, is simply ignored as deep pockets of luxury are more important.

Some exceptionally rich other merely a deep love for the antiques, bought years ago and lovingly looked after.
Those who simply buy to own I am sure do not obtain the same pleasure compared to the ardent collector who may not have deep pockets.

The ardent collector takes more pleasure from it, as their ownership creates more care for the items that they love.

Not so, as people come here to retire and many of the old guys still have their old original cars.
