Oh yes, when the sun greets, the blankets come out. When summer arrives, I am going to get us a fireplace, as they are cheaper in summer. Icy cold feet as shoes are drenched by the wet of the early morning grasses. Always so amazing to see how perfect the seasons work out in tandem with each other.
Winter kills the germs, spring new life arrives, autumn prepares everything for winter and so the cycle runs over the centuries.
Glazed donuts are indeed a proper way to describe it. We are slowly getting better methinks.

Oh yes, Durban is much hotter in winter than the Cape. And even hotter than Johannesburg, as I remember traveling down to Durbs with the family during winter.
