Where to go, what to do?

Well, nothing unusual, to be honest. My tendency to procrastinate added to having had a few more complicated weeks equals to... still not having a clue on what to do in my next vacations!

But still plenty of time, a full week away! I know for sure I won't be visiting far far away destinations.

Yes, it would be awesome to visit a country like Thailand again, filled with ancient temples, amazing food, and awesome views.

No, it will definitely have to be something nearer. An european capital, maybe?

I do have a goal of visiting a new country every year, and still haven't left mine in 2023!

But no mattter how beautiful are the monuments and the cityscape, my head is in dire need of tranquility and rest, and craving time away from civilization! So... mountain hikes?

Yes, yes, this looks more appealing. Just as long it has nature, even if it's not on altitude; any nature trails will do!

The question still remains, though: where?? Revisiting these photos from previous destinations already puts me a little in a holiday mood, and feeling blessed for having visited so many cool places so far. And yet, there's still a whole world to visit! I'll probably decide on the last minute, depending if a cheap flight to a cool destination appears, how will the weather be, and how will I feel as the last days of work pass by.

Worst case scenario? Backpack on the car, maybe the tent and a sleeping bag, and off I go to a roadtrip! Ideally, with some nature trails and beach in between! Even if I stay in my beautiful country (which seems more and more likely)... there's still plenty of beaches and wilderness to discover!

You can go to the Alps, if you want mountains and quiet. You can never go wrong with that 😃

That'sa great suggestion! Only seen them from afar while visiting Italy, but no doubt they deserve a proper visit. Thanks for stopping by! !BEER

Great photos and travel! Do you love castles? I advise you to visit the city of Olomouc in the Czech Republic. I was born there, but I remember very little because I was too young, I remember there were very beautiful delightful ancient castles and estates.

So you are a Czech? Do you speak Czech? Olomouc is a beautiful city indeed btw :)

Do like castles, but hiking trails in the nature and wildlife are my main reason for travel. If there's also castles, won't complain! ;)

Country borders are just politics invented by humans. You can be a world away and still be in Portugal according to map 🙂

Exactly! No borders is the way to go! ;)
