Mono Monday Structures and buildings
First off good morning and wishing one and all a good day and week ahead
As I was wondering what images to look for for todays post, it being Monday and my habit of sharing Mono Images on a Monday and it came to my mind I feel often buildings especially older ones or ones with cool details are a greta option for mono images, and back before I started this habit of sharing mono Images, I seldom used to do Mono edits and generally if I did they were only of buildings and structures
and then looking at my recent Mono Monday posts I have donw hardly any of structures of buildings so that is what I went for today.
and you may wonder why I mentioned structures a coupleof times, well thats to cover this first shot looking under a pier, not exactly a buildign of course but Mono really brings our eye to focus on the detail and wear and tear on it which would not be so apparent in a color edit

and beside the Ale house is this building which has some office space and the New bedford Tattoo shop,
Now my name on here TattoodJay, is not as some suspect that I am a Dj that has or does tattoo's back when I made up this name many many years ago, I clearly wasnt thinking well and should have gone with tattooedJay to represent most call me JJ or Jay and I do have quite a few tattoos, but i have used the mispelt one for so long now I just stick with it and used it when I started on here
I havent tried out this Tattoo place, I have read some good reviews of the work they do, but since I have bene on blood thinners for quite a while now its not a good mix for gettign tattooed so I havent got any new tattooes for maybe 7 years now maybe longer

I often wondered if it was because you have tattoos or, since you take a lot of nature and bird photos, if it was some type of Jay bird that you liked 😅. I thought, "maybe there's a bird called a tattooed jay?"
LOL I do love the Blue Jay but nothing as exotic as that as for the name LOL
I'm glad I know now 😂
👍🙂
I like it, I'm learning to edit photos, and I really like this type of editing. I hope to learn enough to achieve great results

Wooden supports in the water are a great shot. The ripples on the water and the irregularities of the tree look harmonious.

Happy #monomonday Structures do work well for mono like the pier and the greenhouse. The ale house looks good in mono because I picture it dark and dingy inside lol the kind of place sailors go in bad old movies from the 1950s
