RE: Movement IX: A Series of Photographs With an Old Nikon NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8 AI Lens and Some Philosophy Musings (Part Nine)

To be honest, my previous gear was the Canon 70D a cropped body with only a very basic lens. Upgrading my gear to the mirrorless system had change my workflow a lot in a better way. Most important thing for me is the weight. Less weight is better for longer work duration and it is easier to travel with. Plus the technology on the mirrorless is very good. Auto focus was my main reason on switching to the mirrorless system.

The autofocus will probably be the best upgrade for me. As with my current gear (Nikon D300 and cheap Tamron 300m lens), the autofocus is so bad it is almost funny how much I struggle and how many shots I miss due to it not doing what it should. I just need to close my eyes and make that jump and investment into mirrorless and buy new lenses as well. Thank you so much for your advice!

You are very much welcome my friend. I am glad that I can give you some useful info from my experience :))

Sorry for the delayed response! Crazy busy these days haha. It is better to hear from others. Blogs and websites (with their own biases) can only tell you so much.
