This is true even with our longer season. Summer is so enjoyable it seems to fly by too quickly.
Thanks for congrats but unlike your start of summer, our Summer Solstice doesn’t start until June 21 and goes until about September 22. June 21st will be the longest day (daylight) of the year.
I congrats to you on the start of summer in your area. 🌞 I don’t understand why the dates are different. Are you not in the Northern Hemisphere ?

And well I guess it is probably because all this live is hidden under the snow and ice for most of the year, that it has this beautiful calm, alive energy when the land grows.. where is it?

I come across this misconseption often too, that here in the north it’s dark and cold year round, people are so surprised by the gorgeous summers we have. What latitude do you reside in?

Well hello there neighbour! I’m around the 65th northern latitude here in Finland :)
I think it’s easier to live a good life and distance ourselves from the political nonsense here up north. We got better things to do!
But also keep your friends close and enemies closer ;)

Our winter has many flowers and I grow vegetables like spinach, cabbage and peas and on pleasant days, its 18-20C at midday an 3-5C at night. From time to time the antarctic sends us a polar weather system and then temps drop to minus degrees at night and 9-12 during the day but fortunately that doesn't last about a week at a time, it's only seriously cold for about 2 months. I'm sure that sounds like summer to you but we find it highly unpleasant
I don't but some people do. I try to keep the electricity bill lower and I find that extra clothes usually are enough
