It Looked Like Autumn...

Good night, fellow Bees of the Hive!

Here is a shot for the #treetuesday initiative by @old-guy-photos.

This photo was taken at the Augarten Park, in the street of Vienna, Austria. Since this park is not in the centre of the city, most tourists will ignore it... which means you can go there and have a bit of silence and relaxation time! 😁

The park has plenty of empty benches for you to rest, sit back and listen to some music.

As you can see, when I visited it it was almost deserted. There were more squirrels in the trees than people in the park. Just as I like it. 🤭

The trees were all looking as if Autumn had just ended, which is a bit peculiar, since this was in March. It was supposed to be Spring. It felt like Winter, though... so I guess the leaves were late for the party. The park was very beautiful, nevertheless the strange weather that year. 😉

Lovely Shot, it's just before they begin to take on leaves, I've seen similar in Germany.
Have a Great Mid-Week!
👍🏼😁🐝🌴🐝😁👍🏼

Ah, that's right... I'm used to see that process a lot sooner, here in Portugal! 😁

Your probably right!
Though I do remember looking at trees
just like that in the park!
Have a Great Upcoming Week!
👍🏼🐝👍🏼

Thanks a lot! This weekend is nearly over, though. Where did the time fly to? 🤦‍♂️

Gone with the wind,......
He he he....

Wow, really cool example of pollarded trees. Those branches would make some excellent woven fencing if it were 1420

Ahahhah! Why 1420? 🤔

Wow, this is an amazing photo, the sky looks spectacular.

Yes, it's a very cute city... even if it doesn't look like it, the first time you land there! 😁

I can only speak for myself and have to tell you, I didn't ignore it, just didn't have the time to visit it.

Oh, that's a pity... 😐
Maybe next time?

Definitely, whenever that may be ... 🤔

Here still, leaves are available. Soon the environment will be like this, Winter is coming ;)

Don't tell me about it... I don't really like it when it's cold. 🙄
Thanks for your visit and comment!

Oh ya I know :P

What a beautiful alley and an excellent shot! I really like it! Makes me feel like wanting to take a walk. 🙂

This was a nice park for that, I actually passed through it a couple of times. 😁

I still didn't made a proper tour even not around main or most popular sites in Vienna, always being in some hurry for something (business or else).
But, among some other things of that kind, it's on my "to do" list (of course, when Austrians calm down a bit with their crossing the border restrictions, regarding corona virus, that they added recently). 😉

I just walked the city on my own. No tour guides needed! 😁

Well, that's the kind of tour I had on my mind too. Although, now when you mentioned the guided tours, I might consider both. 😉 😁

I hate guided tours. I really dislike having to follow strict schedules. 😂

Well, I can't say that I am a big fan of them, but in a sense when you have a good guide you may always here something about the place you wouldn't be able to learn or find out otherwise.

For instance, last year when we were in Barcelona we found out that all the palms that are planted there are not theirs. They were brought from south America (Brazil or Argentina, I don't recall anymore) for the Olympic games. The funniest part is that they were not bought but leased. After the Olympics they wanted to buy or return them, but they didn't succeed to make the agreement with the seller.
Long story short, they are still there, in the meantime grown into the big trees, and they are still paying the lease for them. Crazy! 😁

How we would know that if we were wondering around only by ourselves and without the guide who knows such things?! 😉 😊

Amazing shot

Thank you very much!

Amazing 👌

Thanks a lot!

Nice shadows too, my friend. Great place. I can sit there all day and do Hive lol.

Ahahahha! I also use Hive on the go... but only for browsing and commenting. I prefer a good old PC to make my posts. 😉

Thanks for your visit and comment!

Very beautiful. Great photography skills too. 💯❤👍

Thanks for the compliment! 😊
