Dear readers, Today I will take you to a place where I go if I don't want to walk uphill too far, I want to get there quickly and enjoy the longest sunset possible, and if I want to peek at the stars without too much light smog.

It is a spot near the famous Hukvaldy Castle and the village of Kozlovice. The top of the hill is called "Tabor", how accurate a name that is, because I often stay here for quite a long time.

Drazí Čtenáři, Dneska vás zavedu na místo, kde jedu pokud nechci šlapat do kopce, chci se tam dostat rychle a užít si co nejdelší západ slunce a kdyžtak nakouknout na hvězdy bez většího světelného smogu.
Jedná se o místo poblíž známého hradu Hukvaldy a vesnice Kozlovice. Vrchol kopce se nazývá "Tábor", jak trefné jméno to je, protože mnohdy zde zůstanu docela dlouhou dobu.

There is no parking place, but you can park on the grass by the ski jumps and then take a 400-meter walk that will take you to the top of Mount Tabor, where there is a bench. It offers a lovely view of the valley, the town of Kopřivnice, and, in good visibility, part of the Jeseníky Mountains.

You can also see the tower on top of Praděd, but you have to move a bit further to pass the mountain on the right side:)

Parkoviště se zde nenachází, ale dá se zaparkovat na trávě u skokanských můstků a následně se vydat na 400 metrů dlouhou procházku, která vás dostanu na vrchol hory Tábor, kde se nachází lavička. Z té je krásný výhled do údolí, město Kopřivnice a za dobré viditelnosti i část Jeseníků. ¨
Dá se vidět i věž na vrcholu Praděd, ale to se musíte posunout trochu dál, abyste pohledem míjeli horu, která se nachází na pravé straně:)

The destination is very quiet and only a few locals know this place. I come here a few times a year and have never met more than 1-2 people, and they leave at sunset. The place is suitable for all age groups and people with strollers.

Destinace je velmi poklidná a pouze pár místních zná tohle místo. Já tu jezdím několikrát do roka a nikdy jsem zde nepotkal více než 1-2 lidi, kteří navíc odcházeli při západu slunce. Místo je vhodné pro všechny věkové skupiny i lidi s kočárkem.

I haven't been doing any big hikes lately due to a lack of energy, so I've been trying to find places that don't take so much time and preparation. On the other hand, I miss feeling the challenge of the trail and the reward of a breathtaking view of the valley. I'm hoping that time is getting closer.

Poslední dobou se nehrnu na žádné velké výšlapy a to z důvodu nedostatku energie, proto se snažím hledat místa, která mi nezaberou tolik času a přípravy. Na druhou stranu už mi velmi chybí pocítit náročnost trailu a odměnu v podobě krásného výhledu do údolí. Doufám, že se mi tento čas už blíží.

Lately, I spend a lot of time sitting and my body is having a hard time with that. Unfortunately, I also have some aches and pains from the past and that doesn't help when you want to go to a mountain. I hope that I break down and will find enough energy for longer hikes and I will be able to bring you more interesting stories.

Poslední dobou totiž hodně času trávím v sedě a to mé tělo už snáší velmi obtížně. Bohužel, ale taky se mi ozývají některé bolístky z minula a to taky zrovna nepřidá, když chcete jet na nějakou horu. Doufám, že se tohle časem zlomí a najdu dostatek energie na větší túry a já vám budu moci přinést další zážitky
