It's beautiful to see how the cows are treated there :) You don't have any of those huge commercial places where they can't even turn around?

I'm glad people are there to rescue the horses, can anything be done for the donkeys?

      Thank you and yes, they are well looked after. They also have miles of open space in which to wander around and to feed.

      Oh yes, those rescue people are real angels. It is all talk as usual about the donkeys. but we have not seen any action to stop it. Someone might be getting paid backdoor again 😥

        Can't they at least enforce that they put them out of their misery before skinning? There's no benefit to the way they're doing it... Ideally the killing would stop, but at least prevent unnecessary suffering 😢

          Oh yes, some are killed with hammer blows to the head. If you Google "donkey killings in south africa" you will see what I mean.
          At first I thought that the skins were used for leather crafts, such as shoes and handbags, but not so, as the skins are used in China for medicinal purposes. Terrible!
