RISING STAR - MUSIC THEMED P2E GAME ON HIVE BLOCKCHAIN

Rising Star. The first time I heard about this game was through a YouTube video of Aftersound. I had to see what it is about. I was at first very confused by all the luck, ego, fans, boosters, people, cars, starbits, starpro, music promoter and so on...but got quickly the hang of it and in the end the game is not very complicated.

All in all, I was so intrigued and excited mainly by the theme of the game. Starting as a lonely busker, playing songs on the street while being chased by police, trying hard in local karaoke bar while luring some drunk fans to your gigs. Working yourself up to some local town bars. Gathering more and more fans that you become so cocky that your ego starts messing up your performance. Refueling your energy with pizza so that you can go to the stage again. And there is an in-game radio!!!

All of that sounded much more adventurous than most of the P2E games I have played before. And also, fun - especially how the developers try to make it as close to real life as possible. At first, of course, the voice of an investor in my head was telling me - count the maximum possible daily profit, watch all the YouTube videos and read all the articles, calculate ROI if you buy some packs...but the voice of a lonely busker seeking fame and glory made me exchange my BCOINS for BUSD, buy some HIVE, sell HIVE for 100 000 STARBITS and get those 12 packs.

So, I got those packs. What now? I have to figure out, what the hell these stats on the cards mean, cause I had no clue, what I actually bought.

FANS:

Ok, so the more fans I have, the higher missions I can play and make more money - STARBITS.

SKILL:

If I am level 15 or have more than 1000 fans, I need to be skillful or my EGO will reduce my earnings. So, I did not have to care about skill. BUT I had more than 1000 fans from the packs, so I needed to put cards with a lot of fans but low skill on the market for ridiculous prices, so that they don’t count to trigger the EGO meter (and I can withdraw them later, when I have enough skill)

EGO:

The more ego I have the less money I make from the missions. Better keep it on 0% or close to 0.

IM: Income modifier

Sounds like the more I have of this the more money I make.

LUCK:

If I am lucky, Drunk fans appear on my gigs and add to my not drunk fans. They will get sober and realize that am not a great musician and leave me for a better band.

So, I started doing missions, found some pizzas on the ground from time to time on the mission and had my energy refilled.

At first, no matter how many fans I had from the bought decks, I had to grind through the low-level missions to get more XP and get to higher level missions which give me more STARBITS (and also drain more energy).

With those 12 decks, playing every day for the past 15 days, I got to level 20, bought one pizza energy booster (which is not consumable! - you can use it every 24 hours) and today I am finishing the Home town with the Saturday Headline mission, looking forward to have the Local Gig Circuit open.

What really boosted my XP were music lessons which I started doing from lvl. 15. They cost only 40% of energy but give 120 XP.

All in all, right now I am getting around 2500 STARBITS which is roughly **0,57 cents **(with the current price of STARBITS at 0.00023 $) for a few clicks a day. Which, of course, can be more when I reach higher missions. If you're looking for a chill game, which does not require so much attention and thinking, you're a music lover, give this gem amongst P2E games a try.

Hello .

A very big ignorance of the game and erroneous data.

For example, IM absolutely does not mean "more starbits earned"...

Another example, what is the point of having access to longer missions if your deck is not organized in such a way as to optimize the winning ranges?
