Bruv, for real, this is the most interesting thing I've read today, and I've just read a ton about predatory mites and I'm super stoked about it! This makes total sense what you're talking about -- micro differences in stress levels of a plant with the same genetic material influenced the creation of different levels of alkaloids, and as a result there is a microdivergence amongst the total population based upon this...
