Making Banana Tea

in WeedCash Network3 years ago (edited)

Hey folks, Graham here again with another update on the indoor/outdoor grow.

I thought i would I try making some homemade plant food for my little Wedding Cake as i don't have any cash to buy nutrients so i am making a banana tea.

I found the recipe on this site which is quite cool.

https://drcannabis.io/banana-tea

All you have to do is cut up some banana skins and put them in water for 3-5 days. Cover with a rag and put in the fridge stirring twice a day.

To water, first you must dilute the tea in standing water, 1 liter of water for every half glass of tea — or 1 part of tea for every 10 parts of water.

That stuff works good! But I just compost my bananas now.

yes... exactly!
sadly most of bananas and tropical fruits are treated/ sprayed with various of chemicals... however soil bugs and spores do their job

just speaking from my local point of view
i still separate compost piles/ containers per type of scraps...
leaves from different plants, fruits & veggies etc...
i have a lot of pine needles compost which isn't good for weed but works great for tomatoes and berries :)

Great points and tip!

Yeah man.. I would usually do the same but my compost pile became inaccessible wen the donkey moved onto my friends bit of land i was using!

Need to start again now!! Pretty annoying after spending so much time getting it going but what can you do...

A donkey! Lol man my wife once fat a rabbit, and holy shit was that thing so destructive! I could not grow anything in the back yard, and it did so much digging that our landlord thought we had a dog. The poop was nice, but never again will I have a rabbit, unless I had the space for its own pin.

Wow!!!! Complimenti!
Non lo sapevo! Che spettacolo
Ti auguro una buona serata
@luba555

man, I feel ya!
same here... cannot afford buying special treatments... so i always have compost at hand.. in my backyard...
well there can be found californian worm castings for sale (cheap 1 euro package)... but i still prefer to use the service of our local bulgarian worms :) they work slower... but they're homies :D

actually a friend with many gardens and compost beds offered me a handful of worms to take away and meet them with mine... but i forgot to take them :D

Yeah man i need to start a new compost pile now! I had a good one going but it got buried recently when my neighbour who owns the land got a donkey!!

We should have just moved it too a new location really but i guess that was too easy lol

I hope that donkey had some snack and dropped a shit over there :D
they're friendly vegan creatures with unmistakable shout :)))

I want to know how this one turns out!

Yeah man i wil do a follow up post.. 👍

Works better in a warmer climate so that the mixture can ferment. Putting it in the fridge is holding it back and not allowing the microbes to break the banana down.

!BEER

You need to stake more BEER (24 staked BEER allows you to call BEER one time per day)

Wow man...!! I can just about buy a bottle of organic Flowering food in town with the nice rewards from this post.

Thanks to everyone out there 👍🍻😀

Although if the tea works as well as it is supposed to i wont need it hopefully! I will be needing veg food more than anything pretty soon...
