Hi,
I've never heard of this before, so cheers for sharing.
Right up my street, long been into Tai Chi and Yoga which I guess have the same focus!

Maybe I made up the term? lol. Yeah I definitely think that Tai Chi and Yoga might have a place here. Both are meditative, which studies show is healthy. Both are low impact which may minimize the risk of permanent injury. But for me there are still open questions around where these fit into a fitness regimen. How frequently should they be practiced, and what else should they be paired with? I think the absence of a robust and scientific framework leads people to pick one type of exercise and practice that exclusively (like how I did Muay Thai almost exclusively for 10 years!) when I suspect the optimal path probably involves a variety of exercises. Thanks for commenting!
I will definitely look into this whole longevity thing - I do like traditional circuits/ dance based exercise classes as the core of my routine (besides Tchi, yoga and running) but this option seems to offer a more sustainable future.
