Hello, first let me say that I appreciate your reblogging; everything counts.
Even though "we don't know" each other, I agree with the majority of what you wrote. However, I live close to both of you and have been responsible for taking care of myself since I was 19 years old.
I spent the money I was able to "hide" on expanding my knowledge of photography, learning new languages, and investing heavily in myself.
Regardless of your skills, the majority of people won't give you a chance because they heavily value "work experience," which is +2 mostly required, even more at some positions.
So, if no one gives me a chance as a beginner, where do I get it from?
Therefore, since each of us is unique and you are skillful, maybe I am, maybe someone else isn't—just that's how things are.
Since he could have denied it and moved on, I'm actually glad that @xplosive admitted his laziness (usually people who are full of excuses wont do it). I'm not sure how much or even if we should rely on society. For my part, I try not to really rely on anyone, but in all honesty, the connection is unavoidable.
Try being a jackass around here, and admire how society treats you, simple as that.:)
