Almost a year ago, I was living in my favorite place on earth; the beautiful city of Dahab. I then thought to myself: life must be wonderful if I could become an established writer on Hive & Steemit who can make enough earnings to live off of them in this magnificent place. To be honest, it felt virtually impossible then.
I've published over 3000 articles in my life, most of them in different names since I was a child. I had a couple of online blogs and websites where I shared my articles, I wrote both in Arabic (my native language) and English (my second language)
To me, content creation is the one thing I'd love to do for a lifetime, no matter what type or form of content. But, why am I writing this now?
I'm writing this to remind myself and you that when you have a dream you can't think: I'll give it up because it would take a lot of time! The time shall and will pass anyway, and you'll only regret not chasing your dreams.
This story is a living proof of what I said; I believe if I stayed consistent with writing and sharing my writings since then till this day, I would've ultimately achieved my dreams. Yet, I didn't.
I'm not here to torture myself with regret but again to remind myself and you that the time will pass anyway. You might be thinking of pursuing a new career perhaps something that isn't fully discovered yet like Blockchain development, but then you'd say to yourself: it would take me at least 3 years to become an expert at this field.
You already know the answer by now: the time will pass anyway! So, you might as well chase your dreams!
