So I just figured out that there is a limit on how much pictures one can upload. Congratulations to myself!
While having time to kill since my partner in crime is on a mission I thought I make a decent post about all the exciting stuff that I did today.
Which is walking my dog, trying to stay away from people crawling around the village on the weekends.
🤔 I keep wondering why everybody is discovering now that there is a castle here?
So long story short I cannot fulfill my envisioned post and have to postpone it until space for more picture uploads is available. Which is later today I guess?
But what to do with my time and insomnia?
Just for the record, I already watched a documentary about Borealopelta, the best preserved dinosaur eveeeeer found in the Millennium mine and an episode of Oak Island Treasure Hunters. Canadien night I suppose.
So now I sit here and type these words wondering what else is going on in this new strange hive ecosystem I am trying to get involved in.
Some disagreement on Hivewatchers and content abuse and vote farming... what the heck I was thinking. I mean I am new to all of this online stuff and had my experiences with stolen content here already...and yes I freaked for a moment and I am still asking myself if it all is worth the effort.
Take the HivePets for example. I have a dog but I'm not Spanish...seems to be a critical determination for upvoting or maybe I just get it wrong. I should let my better half write, he is a Spanish passport holder.
Anybody can correct me here, please, I may just don't understand how the ecosystem works.
But it is frustrating at times. And I am just 6 weeks into this lol.
I thought about recommending Hive but I am not so sure, or maybe it is just not something for people like me.
I have fun creating posts though. It is something new as my life before Corona was about interacting in the physical world and not online. But maybe it is just that people rather read easy to digest stuff if they read at all.
Can someone please create a hive gym with online sandbags I can punch?
Maybe that makes me feel better....gosh, I might have a corona-isolation-for-a-year-psychosis...or my normal what-is-wrong-with-people-or-is-it-just-me-thing.
So if anyone has a good advise besides leaving the hive or made similar experiences when starting out I am more than willing to hear them and maybe I can take something out of it.
Thanks folks...and whoever made it down here...thanks for reading :).

I still interact with people in the real world and I never wear a mask. I would rather die than wear a mask.
Happy Valentine's day!@bulldog-joy
Not trying to be a creeper, was just trying to send over the Valentine's badge to help get started on the @hivebuzz awards.. lol I think I finally figured it out.
😄 🤗...feeling a little better already. Seems that my alter egos are taking over...just not sure if it's pinky or brain lol.
Lol, stick with it, and join the rest of us here each night as we "Take over the world!"..
A couple hints...
If you're not using Peakd.com to view and use yet, do so! It will also allow you to upload higher quality images.
If you haven't checked into the voting power and resource power, read up a bit. Can generally only upvote about 10-15 Full power votes per day and then must let recharge your voting power. Peakd also lets you adjust voting power percentage.
Not sure how the resource power limits work, I generally only post 1-3 times a week.
Check out the help files, and just ask questions most folks here are great, only the occasional asshole.
I'm using PeakD, correlates good with Pikes Peak ;)
Thanks for your support, means a lot.
I hope I'm not a total freak with my ups and downs here lol.
It's a weird mix of sleep deprivation, Joy has diarrhea lately and that means getting up every hour, corona isolation, going on since a year cause we lost every job, and online frustration while figuring this thing out.
My inner Pinky wants to be liked and my inner Brain is hating everyone...and in between it is me 😂....🤪
Yeah it’s definitely a different place but give it time! There’s lots of issues going on like mental anguish from the super powered lock downs and shit.

Check out the last post from @hivebuzz:
I hear you on the random votes and shit by people on content that doesn’t seem to warrant it. It’s just how it goes around here. What we don’t know is there are a lot of alternate accounts that the big folks have and they just vote farm for rewards. Comes with the territory.
If you haven’t heard or checked it out, you should check out the awesome community called The Weekend. It’s great and you can connect with so many awesome people! I think one of the best things to do is just get out there and comment on stuff with people. The rewards come later but the interaction is what’s the best. There’s a lot of really amazing people that call hive their home on the internet!
I would recommend it, hive, but there are some caveats. Hive watchers is a decent initiative but they get a bit too strong with their enforcement and they just end up turning people away because they also don’t have good communication for folks to try to get them off the list. If you don’t plagiarize you should be good. The other big thing is posting very frequently from the front ends. D Buzz is an exception because it’s trying to be like twitter so they typically don’t get people flagged for spam but that itself is also questionable. If you stick to commenting a hell of a lot you should be good until you get more of a feel for the place lol.
I love exploring castles and it’s awesome that we learned a few years ago that we have one right in our town we live in! It’s one of the most incredible tucked away gems, it’s so cool and fun to visit! Best of all it’s only 10 minutes away to drive there.
Thaaaaanks :) I will check your recommended community.
When it comes to commenting, I do but even that sometimes feels like I am creeping people lol. I have "met" some awesome folks already here, like @ksteem but still it is a little awkward sometimes to start the chatter with accounts/people that you don't know or rather see.
But I guess that comes with the nature of being used to face to face interactions and not being too extrovert period.
It is so much more I am exposing here than I have in my lifespan before lol.
And with my jobs came a good overview of the nature of humans and growing up in a repressive regime where you had to be suspicious and that's what you learned from the moment you were born isn't helpful either when it comes to the online. world 😅.
But interactions like these gives me a little bit of hope and I will jump over my inner hurdles and stick around for another while. :)
You are definitely welcome to write a review about that in Movie & Tv Shows, I suppose. I'd love to read about that. I think around here, engagement is one of the keys , and there will be times you get frustrated because you think the content that doesn't deserve rewards gets huge rewards. But like many social media, there are are plenty factors behind it. In centralized social media, it can be algorithm, it can be their promotion, their content, their interaction, relevancy, etc. Here, that still applies too. Even the famous internet personas take years before they become huge especially if they are independent with no backing nor advertisement. So yeah, you mentioned that you're rather new to these online thing. You'll get there eventually as you figure out how things work around here.
Thanks for your words. Appreciate it a lot!
I felt kinda bad, cause it is not that others don't deserve it, well maybe some lol, but as I said
and when I have no sleep I'm a devil. Same with being hungry but that's normal I guess lol.
There was this discussion about some false accusations I followed for a while and I could sense the
tension between people and that got to me a lil bit too.
Of course it is nice to get some rewards, especially if you put thought and effort into sth but as you said, I am new. And who am I blaming others for it?
It was a moment of rant and the minute I wrote it the feeling was gone. That is the good thing about this community, that you have the chance to get something off your chest and usually one feels better afterwards.
And having people helping you to get through this was maybe worth a little rant.
The online world might not be so different from the outside world, just that it is more accumulated and you don't see peoples faces. That was always crucial to me to distinguish what is going on, esp. in my job as a PSD. Reading people is impossible online so I have to learn a new way of interpreting. Which is good in the end :).
